Worked on a few spring decorating projects today. Love how these robin's eggs turned out. I dyed them with my Chefmaster Liqua-Gel dyes, turquoise for the egg and buckeye brown for the speckled dots. The dots were applied by dipping a toothbrush into the dye and spraying onto the eggs.
For my golden eggs, I applied mod podge to the lower half of the egg and then sprinkled on gold pearl sugar. The decoupaged egg is made with foiled handmade paper.
For the following, instead of dyeing the egg, I dyed the raffia a beautiful soft rose color. You only need to dye it for less than a minute.
