Almost Autumn

We're still a few short weeks away from the official first day of fall, but around here fall begins with the start of a new school year.  With the unusual cool summer we've experienced, the season has been beautiful. However, I'm looking forward to welcoming autumn. So is sweet girl who wrote this message on our kitchen chalkboard last night. Wish I could write like that. I love it!

 

Also, with fall upon us, I wanted to let you know our velvet acorns are available in the shop again, with your choice of color palette. I love working with silk velvet - so soft and luxurious!

Love this Food Blog!

On Sunday evening,  I made these Zucchini and Corn Parmesan Fritters for dinner and they were beyond delicious! With an abundance of fresh corn and zucchini available at the farm stands, it's the perfect time to mix up a batch. The recipe is from a favorite food blog of mine, the Flourishing Foodie by Heather Hands. If you enjoy wonderful recipes and beautiful food photography, you'll definitely want to add her blog to your must read list. 

 

 

And don't forget to squeeze on the lemon juice  - it adds the perfect flavor!

New Addition to our White Christmas Collection

 

 

I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Today I'm happy to introduce a new design to our White Christmas Collection, our Joyeux Noel screen printed pillows.

 

 

Sewn with 100% linen that I've pre-washed for a soft vintage appeal. Inside seams are surged and a zipper closure is featured on the back.

 

 

Later in the week I'll be introducing a few more "non-holiday" pillow designs which are available in the shop now as well - perfect for the loved ones in your life.  Enjoy your Monday!

Sorting through vacation photos this morning. These salvaged items were being stored in an old church courtyard.
