I love adding things to my calendar and although I use an iMac, iPhone and iPad I still prefer a paper calendar. Simple things make me happy and reaching for one of my favorite colored markers to jot something down is nothing short of bliss for me. It's the same for making lists - paper will always be my first choice. How about you?
I keep a large monthly wall calendar for scheduling orders for my shops and a small monthly planner. In February, I switched to a new Moleskine monthly planner. Lately, I've found myself always a day early for everything. I wished my loved ones a Happy Valentine's Day the day before; I showed up for my hair appointment one day early last week, and yesterday I wished my nephew a happy birthday, and his birthday is today. I thought I was losing it until I realized the culprit was my new Moleskine planner. The planner has the week beginning with Monday and not Sunday! I'm not sure I'll be able to adjust to this. However, since I happily filled in dates for the entire year, I guess being one day early is better than one day late until I get the hang of it. In the meantime, if I show up at your doorstep one day early, I hope you'll be happy to see me.
