Like me, our teenage daughter loves to bake, and plan ahead. Today was a school holiday so she made several batches of cookies to give to her friends on Valentine's Day. I confess that not all of her cookies made it into the freezer. The fudgy chewiness of the chocolate cookies were just too hard to resist and the scalloped sugar cookie hearts are one of my favorites. She bakes so much that last year I had a custom stamp made for her.
I ordered hers with the word "kitchen" in place of "cucina". My daughter stamps the images onto card stock, punches them out with a scalloped punch, and then ties them onto her packages of baked goods. You can find this stamp at Note Trunk, a favorite Etsy shop of mine. I've purchased several stamps and I love all of her designs. They make wonderful gifts.
